NYS Window Tint Inspection — WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW —
SCHEDULE TINT INSPECTION
NYS TINT INSPECTION NEAR CARMEL NY FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS 1. Will my car pass NYS Inspection with tinted windows?
The simple answer is yes, but under the legal limits. According to the NYS DMV, NYS does not permit darkened windshields or front side windows. Windshields and front side windows cannot block more than 30% of light transmittance. In other words, 70% or more of the light from the outside must pass through the window. This law is also applicable to the rear window unless the vehicle has outside rear-view mirrors on both sides. The mirrors must give the driver a full and clear view behind the vehicle. Rear-side windows must also allow at least 70% of light from the outside to pass through the window if the vehicle is classified as a station wagon, sedan, hardtop, coupe, hatchback, or convertible.
Car AC Repair No one likes getting into a sweltering car, but it’s such a relief to turn on your AC and feel that cool air kick in. Until the day it doesn’t. What are Some Signs Your Car Needs A/C Repair?
1. Less Cool Air Output
You probably know what to expect from your car’s air conditioning output. If your car doesn’t provide the level of cooling it usually does, it could indicate a problem with the AC system. In some cases, the difference in cooling may be slight. For example, you may feel like the airflow isn’t quite as powerful as usual. In other instances, the change may be more dramatic. You may notice the air being pushed from the vents is very faint, or the air conditioning may be sending warm air or no air to the cabin.
